Dal was born and educated in Canberra. He grew up in Woden Valley and has spent his adult years in Tuggeranong. He graduated from Year 12, Marist College Pearce in 1985 and commenced his Plumbing Apprenticeship with Waterman Plumbing, Curtin in 1987.
After a brief stint with Canberra Plumbing, based in Fyshwick, he graduated from CIT with distinctions in the trades of Plumbing, Drainage and Gasfitting.
After obtaining his trade qualifications Dal identified a need in the expanding Canberra community for a plumbing business which could deliver a quality, reliable service bringing innovative and specialised solutions to plumbing and drainage maintenance.

Peter Hrstic.
Peter was born to be a plumber. He is a third generation plumber and from a very young age, it was clear that he was going to continue this family legacy.
After completing Year 12 in 2008 Peter officially joined Raiders Plumbing as a first-year apprentice. He excelled both on the job and at CIT. Not only did Peter enjoy the hands-on work – he thrived in the classroom, learning the technical skills of his trade.
Along the way, Peter’s dedication has been rewarded many times and we are proud to share that he has been the recipient of the following awards:
2012 – Master Plumbers & ACT Government Registrars’ Award for Best Overall Performance in Certificate IV Plumbing
2012 – Master Plumbers Certificate Of Outstanding Achievement for Certificate IV Business Principles
2012 –CIT recipient of The Master Plumbers Association of the ACT for Outstanding Performance in Stage 3 Gas Fitting
2013 – CIT Southern Plumbing Award for the Most Outstanding Student in Plumbers Business Principles
2014 – ACT Government, Master Plumbers & Training Fund Authority Certificate Of Outstanding Achievement for Certificate IV Water.
Peter is a fully licensed plumber, drainer & gasfitter in the ACT & NSW. He is also qualified to install and test backflow prevention devices.
